Doctolib Raises $20M in Series B Funding

doctolibDoctolib, a Paris, France-based healthcare booking platform, raised $20m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Accel with participation from angels Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet, Bertrand Jelensperger, Antoine Freysz, Olivier Occelli, Maxime Forgeot and Nicolas Brusson.

The company intends to use the funds to expand into European countires beyond France. With the new funding, the company plans to expand in other European countries.

Co-founded by CEO Stanislas Niox-Chateau, Jessy Bernal and Ivan Schneider in 2013, Doctolib operates an online platform for people to find a nearby health practitioner and book appointments. It provides doctors with an online and mobile booking platform and management software to improve bookings management and bring new patients to office.
The company currently employs 120 people.
