Aceable, an Austin, Texas-based developer of a drivers education app, raised $4.7M in seed funding.
The round was led by Silverton Partners with participation from Floodgate Ventures, NextGen Angels and Capital Factory.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its national presence, grow the existing team and enter into new markets and verticals where professional certifications are required.
Led by Blake Garrett, CEO, Aceable Aceable provides a mobile app that currently offers courses in drivers education, defensive driving and traffic school in Texas and Florida. The content is available across all mobile platforms.
Aceable has 20 employees and roughly 100,000 users.
