3nder Raises $500K in Seed Funding

3nderapp3nder (formerly known as the threesome app), a London, UK-based open dating app for singles and couples, raised $500k in seed funding.

Two unnamed tech angels provided the capital.

The company intends to use the funds to initiate active marketing and improve scalability as well as to prepare for a Series A in the following months.

Led by founder Dimo Trifonov, 3nder allows singles and couples to show themselves, explore their sexualities, and discover like-minded people.
It is close close to reaching a million downloads.
Commenting on the success of the app, Trifonov said:

Consensual non-monogamy for singles and couples is becoming more prevalent, especially among young people. We are building the first safe environment for open minded people where they can meet likeminded partners, and the response has been fantastic. We are also gender blind and orientation-blind, so everyone is welcomed!

After this round, 3nder will start talks with investors or entrepreneurs that want to buy the rights to exploit the app in a particular country or territory.
