Skilljar Raises $2.6M in Seed Financing

skilljarSkilljar, a Seattle, WA-based learning management system (LMS) platform for enterprises and their customers, raised $2.6m in seed financing.

The round was led by Trilogy Equity Partners, with participation from existing angel investors. In conjunction with the funding, Amy McCullough, Partners at Trilogy Equity Partners, joined Skilljar’s board of directors while Chuck Stonecipher, also a partner at Trilogy, joined the board as an observer.

The company intends to use the funds to expand growth, and continue building strategic product integrations such as their partnerships with Marketo, Okta, and Zapier.

Led by Sandi Lin, co-founder and CEO, and Jason Stewart, co-founder and CTO, Skilljar provides a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) for companies to educate their customers and partners. The online training platform aims to accelerate customer onboarding and engagement by enabling multimedia course creation, a mobile-responsive learning environment, and automated CRM data integrations.
Founded in 2013, the company is a graduate of TechStars 2013.
