Paladin Capital Group Holds First Close of New Investment Fund

Paladin Capital Group, a Washington, D.C.-based multi-stage private equity firm and a global cyber security investor, held the first close of its new investment fund.

The initial closing included commitments from sovereign wealth, institutional, and high net worth investors from Europe, United States, and the Middle East.

The Paladin Cyber Fund will continue to follow the firm’s focus and will invest in cyber and digital security technologies.

In addition to the new fund, the firm announced the promotions of Christopher Steed (who joined Paladin in 2008) to Managing Director, Mourad Yesayan (who joined in 2009) to Principal, Gibb Witham (who joined in 2011) to Vice President, and Tom Clute (who joined in 2010) to Associate.
They will add to Michael Steed, Founder and Managing Partner, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Kenneth A. Minihan, Mark Maloney, Paul Conley, Philip Eliot, Dan Mudd, and Alex O’Cinneide.

Beyond Washington D.C. Paladin has offices in Silicon Valley, New York, and London.
