KlowdTV Raises $635K in Funding

klowdtvKlowdTV, LLC, a Fairfax, Va.-based Live Streaming TV startup, raised $635k in debt and equity funding.

According to a regulatory filing with the S.E.C., 6 backers have already invested in the offering, which has a final target of $1m.

Led by William O’Hara, CEO, KlowdTV operates a Live Streaming TV platform available on Mac and PC browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer 9+), on most Android devices 4.1 and higher and iOS devices (iPhone and iPad), mobile apps (for Android and iOS) and Streaming TV (Roku, Amazon Fire, Sony Smart TVs, Hisense TVs, TiVos, Samsung Blu Ray Players, and other OperaTV enabled smart devices).

The company recently  launched a $3-a-month news channel package, which includes Bloomberg HD, Sky News International, Newsmax, One America News, France 24 and RT America.
