Infoworks, a San Jose, CA-based automated big data management platform, secured $5m in Series A financing.
The round was led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from Knoll Ventures and others.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its management team to prepare for the next stage of growth.
Founded in 2014 by Amar Arsikere, CEO, and Buno Pati, Chairman, Infoworks has developed a Dynamic Data Warehousing (DDW) platform, which provides a scalable and shared data repository that supports all enterprise analytics on Hadoop through software automation and intelligent data organization.
In a separate announcement, the company also announced availability of a complete solution for data warehouse augmentation, which is built on its DDW platform.
