Chewse, Inc., a San Francisco, CA-based platform for businesses to order and manage meals for their employees, raised $5.9m in Series A funding.
The round was led by The Foundry Group, with participation from Andy Appelbaum, 500 Startups, Galvanize, and Telegraph Hill Capital.
The company is using the funds to continue to expand operations. It is hiring.
Led by Tracy Lawrence, CEO/Founder, and Jeff Schenck, CTO, Chewse provides a SaaS-based platform for corporate meals. Yje company deliver meals to the office from local restaurants in family-style trays and platters via an online experience.
The company is currently present in San Francisco.
