Zephyr Health, a San Francisco, CA-based insights-as-a-service company for the Healthcare industry, closed a $17.5M funding round.
The round was led by Google Ventures with participation from current investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Icon Ventures.
The company, which has received a total of $33.5m funding to date, intends to use the funds to further expand the business with new products and in new areas.
Founded in 2011 by CEO William King, Zephyr Health provides biopharmaceutical and medical device companies with a SaaS platform harnessing global healthcare data for product lifecycle performance, from clinical trials to market strategy and sales.
Customers include Fortune 100 Genentech, Gilead, Medtronic, Onyx and Amgen.
The company also has offices in London, UK and Pune, India.
