Erna Solberg, Prime Minister of Norway, today opened the Oslo Cancer Cluster Innovation Park.

Founded by Jónas Einarsson, the Innovation Park aims to create Europe’s leading environment for education, research and industry within oncology, while also shortening the time it takes to develop new cancer medication and diagnostics.

A NOK 1 billion public-private investment, the Park will integrate a High School, namely Ullern High School to give students the opportunity to hear guest lectures from oncology researchers and industry leaders, do internships at Oslo University Hospital and the other members of Oslo Cancer Cluster.

In addition it includes The Cancer Registry of Norway, Oslo Cancer Cluster Incubator, and Institute for Medical Informatics and Pathology at Oslo University Hospital, as well as global biopharmaceutical and biotech companies.
