Musaic Receives Investment from Amazon’s Alexa Fund

musaicMusaic, a London, UK-based wireless HiFi system that allows customers to listen to music in every room with high sound quality, received an investment from Amazon’s Alexa Fund.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The $100m Alexa Fund is dedicated to supporting developers, manufacturers, and startups of all sizes who are passionate about creating new experiences designed around the human voice.

Led by Matthew Bramble, CEO, Musaic provides a high-resolution wireless HiFi system that allows customers to listen to music in every room with high sound quality. The system integrates smart lighting to create and control scenes and moods, and combines with home automation to create a connected smart home.
The company is now building skills for Alexa enabling Echo customers to control their Musaic system using only their voice and is also working to be one of the first companies to integrate with the Alexa Voice Service.
