Kindara Raises $5.3M in Seed Funding

Kindara-logoKindara, a Boulder, CO-based fertility app maker, raised $5.3m in seed funding.

The round was led by Boston Seed Capital with participation from SOS Ventures, Good Works Ventures, PV Ventures, MENA Venture Investments and 62 Mile Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to extend their platform to address a broader range of women’s health concerns and to finalize the manufacturing of its first connected device, Wink.

Founded by Kati Bicknell and Will Sacks, Kindara designs products for women. Kindara Fertility Tracker for iPhone and Android, is a fertility app for women to get pregnant or avoid pregnancy naturally, and understand their bodies.
Wink is an advanced Bluetooth basal thermometer that syncs with Kindara apps to provide a fertility management experience. It will be shipping at the end of 2015.
