Centerline Biomedical Closes $1.7M Seed Funding

centerline-biomedicalCenterline Biomedical, Inc., a Cleveland, OH-based developer of vascular navigation system, closed a $1.7M seed funding.

The company intends to use the funds to advance its system to the next phase of development and continue to test its proprietary surgical navigation system.

Based on the research from Cleveland Clinic’s Heart & Vascular Institute, Centerline technology reduces the radiation exposure to patients and caregivers and provides the surgeon with a “GPS-like” tool, making these procedures safer and more accurate.
The platform technology firstly targets the endovascular aneurism repair market, but plans are in place to address a variety of vascular procedures.

Founded in November 2014, the company is led by William Fuller, CEO.
