Ac Milan to Sell 48% Stake to Bee Taechaubol

milan-logoFininvest SpA, the owner of Ac Milan, has agreed to sell a 48% stake of the Italian football giant, to Thai businessman Bee Taechaubol.

According to the agreement, Taechaubol will pay an amount ranging from €470m and €500m.

In conjunction with the deal, which will be officialy closed within the end of September, Thai Prime’s Executive Director Bee Taechaubol will become vice president of the club. He confirmed the deal via Twitter:

Led by Italian businessman and former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who will remain President, AC Milan has won 18 Italian titles, 5 national cups, 7 Champions’ Leagues, 5 European supercups, and 3 club world Cups, among others. The club will now have the opportunity to come back to challenge FC Juventus (winners of the latest 4 Italian titles) following a dark period of mediocrity.
They have just signed Sinisa Mihajlovic as manager and International players Bacca and Luis Adriano.
