Splacer Raises $1.4M in Seed Funding

logo-splacerSplacer, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based marketplace for listing and renting out creative event space, raised $1.4m in seed funding.

The round was led by Carmel Ventures with participation from a number of angel investors, including Shlomo Kramer, Sam Ben Avraham, and Eyal Shaked.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations (it is going live with a beta product in New York City).

Founded by Lihi Gerstner and Adi Biran, Splacer is an online platform and marketplace for people to instantly list, discover, and book short-term spaces to create event experiences. The company uses a network of local scouts and affiliates to access spaces while those looking for a space can browse listings and filter by size, location, vibe, and type of activity.
Once users find a space they like, they can connect with the host to receive additional information.
