Reward Gateway Receives £140M PE Investment

reward-gatewayReward Gateway, a London, UK-based employee engagement platform, received a £140m investment.

Great Hill Partners, a specialist investor in HR and Technology businesses, made the investment. Inflexion Private Equity, who backed the company in 2010 taking a 75% stake in the business and valuing the business at £25m, exited it.

Started in 2006 by Glenn Elliott, Reward Gateway provides SmartHub®, an employee engagement platform for employee benefits, rewards & HR information. Its technology is used by more than 1,100 clients including American Express, Groupon, Yahoo!, IBM and McDonald’s.
Reward Gateway employs 275 people in London, Birmingham, New York, Sydney, Melbourne, Plovdiv and Skopje.
The business has grown with 2015 global revenues of £187m GBP.
