Quattrocento Raises $250K in Seed Funding

quattrocentoQuattrocento, a Milan, Italy-based online provider of luxury glasses, raised $250k in seed funding.

Backers included Wix CEO and Founder Avishai Abrahami, Kima Ventures and other unnamed investors.

Led by Sharon Ezra and Eugenio Pugliese, Quattrocento is a sun & optical glasses brand with 100% made-in-Italy products (frames are made of high quality cellulose acetate and stainless steel and complete with prescription lenses) inspired by the XVth century, the renaissance of Italy. Its factories are located in Cadore, Veneto, Italy, where glass manufacturing tradition dates back hundreds of years.

The company sells its glasses online starting at €105.
