Pager Raises $14M in Series A Funding

pager-logoPager, a New York-based healthcare on-demand provider, raised $14m in Series A funding.

Backers included New Enterprise Associates, Sound Ventures, Goodwater Capital, Lux Capital and Montage Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its technology development and expand to other major cities across the country including San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Founded by CTO Oscar Salazar, CEO Gaspard de Dreuzy, and President Philip Eytan and also led by Aran Ron and Rick Boxer, MD, Chief Medical Officers, Pager is a mobile service offering healthcare on-demand which leverages a patient-centric model that provides users with access to personal care.
New York City users can access the service every day from board certified doctors, specializing in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine and Internal Medicine during the hours of 8am to 10pm.
