Influitive Closes $30.5M Series B Funding

InfluitiveLogo Influitive, a Toronto, CA-based advocate marketing platform, closed $30.5M in Series B round of funding.

The round was led by Georgian Partners with participation from OurCrowd, Atlas Venture, Docomo Capital, BDC Capital IT Venture Fund, and previous investors Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Illuminate Ventures, Resolute Ventures, Relay Ventures, CommonAngels Ventures and First Round Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Simon Chong of Georgian Partners will join Influitive’s Board of Directors.

The company plans to use the funds to continue to expand the advocate marketing category and its platform, AdvocateHub, while fueling global expansion.

Led by Mark Organ, CEO and founder, Influitive allows B2B companies to identify, mobilize and recognize advocates to accelerate business growth. Its AdvocateHub software lets marketers build advocate communities in which members gain recognition and status in exchange for activities that help promote the brand’s interests and reputation.

Customers include Acquia, Atlassian, DocuSign, HireVue, Hootsuite, HP Software, Marketo and Oracle.

The company has offices in Boston, Palo Alto and San Francisco.
