Inflowmatix, a London, UK-based newly formed spin-out from Imperial College London that will provide water flow and system health analytics to water utilities worldwide, raised £1m in seed funding.
The backer was Imperial Innovations Group plc (AIM:IVO).
The company intends to use the funds to further develop its existing and already deployed prototypes.
Led by Dr David Parker (FREng), founding Chairman, and Dr Ivan Stoianov, founder, Inflowmatix is developing technology that allows network operators to continuously monitor, diagnose and manage hydraulic instabilities, leading to reduced bursts, leakage and operating costs and enabling prioritized network maintenance.
