Edinburgh and London-based mobile app developer Kotikan has been acquired by NYC-based FanDuel.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed. The acquisition came days later the announcement of the $275m Series E funding round raised by FanDuel.
Led by Gavin Dutch, Founder and Managing Director, Kotikan has a team of 56 and a turnover of £2.4m in 2015.
Founded in 2009, FanDuel is a daily fantasy sports provider that offers one-day game options for NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and college football and basketball, with new public and private leagues forming daily.
The company has offices in Los Angeles, Orlando, Glasgow and now Edinburgh.
