CultureAlley (Intap Labs Private Limited), a Jaipur, India-based language learning platform, raised approx. $6.5m in funding.
Tiger Global made the investment and partner Lee Fixel joined CultureAlley’s startup. Uther participants included 500 Startups and KAE Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Co-founded by Nishant Patni and Pranshu Bhandari, CultureAlley has built a platform that enables interactive language learning through self-paced audio-visual lessons. It currently allows people to learn English, Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi, Japanese, Italian, French and Korean.
The company has approx. 17 employees.
