ACT.md Raises $8.4M Series A Funding

ACT.md, a Boston, MA-based provider of a team-based care coordination platform for the management of complex patients, raised $8.4M Series A funding.

The round was led by Rose Park Advisors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development.

Co-founded by Dr. Isaac Kohane, Dr. Kenneth Mandl, and Ted Quin, ACT.md provides a cloud-based technology platform that connects all members of a dynamic care team and enables collaborative care planning and execution of the plan through a “project management-like” approach.
It provides a team-based care platform comprised of both a HIPAA-compliant web-based software and professional coordination services.
