Tute Genomics Closes over $3.9M Series A1 Venture Capital Funding

tuteTute Genomics, a Provo, Utah-based provider of an analytics, interpretation, and reporting for clinical sequencing platform, closed its over $3.9m Series A1 round of venture capital funding.

Backers included Intermountain Healthcare, an integrated network of 22 hospitals and 185 physician clinics, Healthbox, and China-based Tencent. In conjunction with the funding, Nina Nashif, founder and CEO of Healthbox, will be joining the Tute Genomics Board on behalf of Intermountain Healthcare.

Led by Reid Robison, MD MBA, CEO, and Kai Wang, PhD, President and Chairman, the company provides a cloud-based genome interpretation platform for healthcare to enable predictive, preventive and precision medicine through genomics.
