Apped Oy, a Helsinki, Finland – based startup that aims to create new kinds of business applications, which function like app stores’ downloadable games, raised close to €500k in private funding.
The names of the investors were not disclosed.
The company, which also received funding from Tekes, plans to use the capital for global growth.
Led by Ari Rahkonen, Aki Antman, Kimmo Rasila and Tero Virtala, Apped aims to tackle the challenges of office work within seconds. The apps, expected to be released in Autumn, will make use of the company’s data with no development or maintenance requirements, saving resources for other tasks complying with companies’ security specifications.
