Aledade Raises $30M in Funding

aledadeAledade, a Bethesda, Maryland-based provider of a platform to manage Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), raised $30m in funding.

The round was led by ARCH Venture Partners with participation from Venrock.

The company intends to use the funds to expand service offerings, build additional software and analytic tools and add more on-the-ground support for doctors and their staffs.

Led by Co-Founder and CEO Farzad Mostashari, MD, and co-founder and Executive VP of Provider Networks Mat Kendall, Aledade partners with independent, primary care physicians to provide everything doctors need to create and operate an Accountable Care Organization (ACO), which is a group of health care providers, who come together voluntarily to give coordinated high quality care to their patients.
It helps them manage all regulatory aspects of forming an Accountable Care Organization and working with CMS, and provides continuous, on-sight practice transformation and support for doctors, nurses, and practice staff, as well as customized technology to optimize existing EHRs and patient claims data. In addition, the company creates software, platforms, and applications to assist with patient outreach, engagement, and treatment.
