Wrike, a Mountain View, CA-based work management platform for high-performance teams, raised $15m in Series B round of financing.
The round was led by Scale Venture Partners and DCM Ventures with participation from previous investor Bain Capital Ventures. In conjunction with the round, ScaleVP Partner Rory O’Driscoll joined Wrike’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand globally and invest in product development.
Founded in 2007 by CEO Andrew Filevexpand, Wrike provides over 8,000 paid customers with a SaaS-based work platform that allows distributed and co-located teams to work together.
The company, which recently surpassed its 200th employee, plans to hire 150 more people in the next 12-18 months.
