Unitive, a Woodside, CA-based developer of a team-building solution, closed a bridge loan funding from Aligned Partners.
The undisclosed amount will be used to prepare for the company’s June 2015 launch.
Built on an examination of academic research on decision-making, linguistics and current best practices in human resource science, Unitive features patent-pending technology that identifies, map and sidesteps unconscious bias as it’s happening.
The company is led by by Laura Mather, who sold her first company Silver Tail Systems in 2012 for hundreds of millions of dollars to EMC.
