SimplyCook, a London, UK-based provider of a recipe kit service, closed $1.1m in funding.
The round was led by Episode 1 Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and marketing efforts.
Founded by Oli Ashness, SimplyCook provides members with personalized recipes and a selection of ingredient kits every month.
The recipes usually cost between £3 and £6 per person per meal including the kit and 18 ingredients created by the company’s chefs. Kits may include culinary pastes, infused oils, garnishes, rubs, specialist stocks and herb/spice blends.
