Receiptful, a London, UK-based API that enables users to send emails, raised $500k in angel funding.
According to post, backers included Matt Mullenweg (Founder, Automattic & WordPress), Joel Gascoigne (Founder, Buffer), Vinny Lingham (Founder, Gyft), Andrew Wilkinson (Founder, Metalab) and Collis & Cyan Ta’eed (Co-founders, Envato) and others.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to build the platform and grow the business.
Led by Adii Pienaar, Receiptful is an e-mail marketing tool that integrates with eCommerce stores to send e-mail receipts to increase Customer Lifetime Value.
Users can customize the look of receipt template, as well as add upsell messages to them via the dashboard.
