Justworks, a New York City-based HR and payments platform, raised $13m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures with participation from existing investors Thrive Capital and Index Ventures.

Led by Isaac Oates, founder and CEO, Nick Thuesen, Head of Engineering, and Camilla Velasquez, Head of Product, Justworks provides small and medium-sized companies with a SaaS platform that automates payments, payroll, HR admin, benefits enrollment and government paperwork.
The solution is licensed in all 50 states to guarantee legal employment compliance irrespective of employee location.
