Gofactory Raises $2M in Seed Funding

gofactoryGofactory, a San Francisco, CA-based Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) company, raised $2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Visionnaire Ventures and a group of executives in the industrial and manufacturing sectors including Reuben Brothers, David Clark, Jonathan McQueen, Swordfish Investments and Thomas Kunz.

The company intends to use the funds to scale the team.

Led by Bryan Hughes, founder and CTO, and Allan McNichol, CEO, Gofactory has developed an IIoT service that analyzes data from connected assets in real-time and instantly notifies the right people with the information needed to respond to and solve critical issues.
The Cloud Service connects machines, sensors, systems and people to drive action and response. It receives and filters real-time data to identify faults and locate and dispatch the right person to address the problem. Applications include situations where uptime is essential such as cell towers, traffic signals, alternative energy and oil and gas infrastructure.
