CloudGenix Raises $25M in Series B Funding

cloudgenixCloudGenix, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based provider of software-defined wide area network technology, raised $25m in Series B round of funding.

The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from CRV and the Mayfield Fund. In conjunction with the funding, Enrique Salem, managing director at Bain Capital Ventures and former president and CEO of Symantec, joined CloudGenix’ board.

The  company, which has now raised $34m in total funding, plans to use the capital to accelerate sales expansion and product growth.

Led by Kumar Ramachandran, co-founder and CEO, CloudGenix combines private and public network resources to deliver improved application and network performance, simplify hybrid WAN management and lower WAN costs for businesses.
The solution serves financial services, legal, retail and technology organizations with multiple branch offices.
