Wearvr, an Atlanta, Georgia-based game, experience and app store for virtual reality, completed a $1.5m funding round.
Unnamed backers participated in the round.
The company intends to use the funds to improve the site and grow its user base.
Launched in July 2014, Wearvr allows fans to access to VR content across 1,000 titles and developers to promote it. To date, the platform has reached 200,000 downloads of virtual reality content.
