Vessel, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a new online video platform service, raised $57.5m Series B funding.
The round was led by Institutional Venture Partners with participation from current investors Benchmark Capital, Greylock Partners and Bezos Expeditions.
The company, which has now raised $75m in funding, intends to use the capital to grow business operations.
Co-founded by Jason Kilar and Richard Tom, Vessel is a video platform which gives users early access to premium video content via their favorite devices (phone, tablet, laptop, desktop and eventually TV).
It is available at www.vessel.com, as an iOS app with Android coming soon).
