Take Eat Easy, a Brussels, Belgium-based food delivery startup, closed a €6m series A round of funding.
Backers included Rocket Internet, DN Capital and Piton Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its presence in Brussels and Paris, as well as to other major European cities in Germany, Spain and the UK.
Founded in 2013 and led by Adrien Roose, CEO, Take Eat Easy connects trendy restaurants, bike couriers and customers through through a website and a mobile application for ecological and reliable delivery of quality meals. The service was launched in Brussels in September 2013, then in France (in October 2014) and currently works with 250 trendy restaurants.
