Berlin, Germany Internet incubator Rocket Internet SE (“Rocket”, ISIN DE000A12UKK6, RKET) is to move to new headquarters.
The company will relocate its headquarters to the GSW building in Charlottenstraße 4 in Berlin’s Kreuzberg district.
Named the “Rocket Tower“, the site will be the largest startup campus in Europe hosting office space amounting to 22,000 square metres for employees in all departments as well as companies from Rocket’s global network.
The move into the tower will begin early next year and is expected to be completed at the end of 2016.
Started in 2007 by the Samwer’s brothers, Rocket focuses on online business models that satisfy basic consumer needs across three sectors: e-Commerce, marketplaces and financial technology. The company currently has more than 25,000 employees across its network of companies, which operate in more than 100 countries on five continents.
