Phantom Cyber Secures $2.7M in Seed Funding

phantomcyberPhantom Cyber, a Palo Alto, CA-based security software company, secured $2.7m in seed funding.

Backers included Foundation Capital, Rein Capital, Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite Inc. (NYSE:N); John W. Thompson, former CEO of Symantec; Thomas E. Noonan, former CEO of Internet Security Systems (ISS) and John C. Becker, former CEO of Sourcefire.

Founded by industry veterans Oliver Friedrichs and Sourabh Satish, Phantom Cyber provides organizations with a centralized and open platform platform that automates enterprise security operations to defend their business. By orchestrating key stages of security operations from prevention to triage and resolution, the platform is designed to automate routine and urgent actions before and during attacks.

The software, Phantom Enterprise, is currently undergoing testing by design partners and will be available more broadly to qualified beta-testers in mid-2015 and commercially available in Q4 2015.
