InfraRed Digital Raises Funding from Queen City Angels

InfraRed-LogoInfraRed Digital, a Cincinnati, Ohio-based social network that makes analytic applications, raised funding from Queen City Angels.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to advance the development of its analytics platform.

Led by father-daughter team of Ed and Elena Fullman. InfraRed aims to disrupt the $37 billion analytics software industry by enabling data scientists, analysts, and data savvy professionals to simplify, accelerate, and reduce the cost of big data and predictive analytics. To this end, it is developing a proprietary big data platform and developer community that can make reusable and re-saleable analytic modules or plug-ins.
Today, the company is working closely with university research institutes and innovation centers.
