Bessemer Venture Partners and Emergence Capital to Support Companies Leveraging Box’ Platform

box-logoBox (NYSE: BOX), a Los Altos, CA-based cloud-storage company, has teamed up with Bessemer Venture Partners and Emergence Capital to support enterprise software companies that are leveraging its platform.

Under the terms of the deal, Bessemer and Emergence Capital have committed up to $20m each.

Founded in 2005 by Aaron Levie, Box is an enterprise software platform for content collaboration that allows businesses of all sizes in every industry to securely access and manage their critical information in the cloud. Its platform ecosystem currently has nearly 50,000 third-party developers building apps and making 4.5 billion API calls each month and integration partners including 3DPrinterOS, Confide, Convo, Domo, eHealth Technologies, Envoy, FiftyThree, Folloze, Frame.io, InVision, K2, Procore, Symphony, Tipbit and Venzee.

The company is headquartered in Los Altos, CA, with offices across the United States, Europe and Asia.
