Atooma Raises €595K in Funding

atoomaAtooma, a San Francisco, CA and Rome, Italy-based platform that allows users to create connections between apps & devices to perform automatic smart actions, raised €595k in funding.

Backers included UniCredit, in the framework of its startup initiative Unicredit Start Lab, which invested €105k, seed venture capital firm LVenture Group and other angels and industrial partners.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow operations. It is currently hiring.

Co-founded in 2012 by CEO Fabrizio Cialdea and CMO Gioia Pistola, Atooma operates a cloud based platform for companies in the Smart Home, Mobile, Wearable and Automotive sectors to integrate AI to their devices and services to trigger automatic and contextual actions and allow users to have new experiences (have a look at some use cases here).

According to a note, the company’s solution is already in use in several international companies.
