Aircuity, a Newton, MA-based airside efficiency company, raised $6.245m in funding.
Backers included Source Squared and new investors Rivas Capital LLC.
The company intends to use the funds to support a five year expansion plan to accelerate growth into the Airside Efficiency market.
Founded in 2000, Aircuity provides commercial, institutional and lab building owners with energy savings through intelligent measurement solutions which combine real-time sensing and continuous analysis of indoor environments.
The company serves clients in the Higher Education, Research and Life Sciences, Commercial Office, K-12, Healthcare, Government and Public Assembly sectors.
To date, Aircuity has orders for over 600 systems in 16 countries.
