Twin Prime, a Redwood City, CA-based provider of a mobile data delivery optimization platform, raised $9.5m Series A funding round.
The round was led by DFJ and True Ventures with participation from Milliways Ventures and Moment Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Bubba Murarka, Partner at DFJ, and Om Malik, Partner at True Ventures, joined Twin Prime’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its marketing and sales activities, and expand its product development efforts.
Led by Kartik Chandrayana, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Twin Prime has launched its mobile application acceleration solution that allows companies to deliver dynamic, static and encrypted content on both cellular and Wi-Fi networks by customizing optimizations in real-time for every mobile app launch.
The company serves Fortune 500 brands, m-commerce, social media apps, advertising networks, publishers and companies of all sizes.
