The amount of the investment was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations. It is hiring.

People sign up with their postcode and email address, and are automatically connected to Streetlife users in their local area. They can post messages, events, polls and pictures, and locals can respond. We keep users posted on the discussions happening in their local area.
