Security Innovation, a Wilmington, MA-based cybersecurity company, secured $4m in funding.
The round was led by existing investor Brook Venture Partners with participation from existing investor Gordon M. Burns, Director at Compass Diversified Holdings LLC.
The company intends to use the funds to further extend its current portfolio of products and services.
Led by Ed Adams, president and CEO, Security Innovation specializes in protecting sensitive data in embedded systems, desktops, web applications, mobile devices, or in the cloud and is now expanding expertise in crypto and secure communications.
The company has 8 patents and a suite of solutions for Fortune 500 and mid-size companies to build internal security expertise and identify weak spots.
