Jama Software, a Portland, Oregon-based provider of a product delivery solution, raised $20m in funding.
Updata Partners joined existing partners Trinity Ventures, Madrona Venture Group and the Oregon Angel Fund in the round. In conjunction with it, Jon Seeber of Updata Partners and Tim Porter from Madrona joined Jama’s board.
The company, which has now raised a total of $33m, intends to use the funds to bring to market industry-specific features for manufacturers in safety-critical industries.
Led by Eric Winquist, co-founder and CEO, Jama provides R&D and product teams at Global 1,000 companies with a cloud based product delivery solution with integrated test management and actionable collaboration to bring complex products to market. Users include SpaceX, The Department of Defense, VW, Time Warner, GE, United Healthcare and Amazon.com, among others.
