enSilo Raises Seed Funding from Carmel Ventures

ensiloenSilo, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based data exfiltration prevention platform provider, raised a seed funding round from Carmel Ventures.

In conjunction with the funding, Ronen Nir, General Partner at Carmel Ventures, joined enSilo’s board of directors.

The amount of the round was not disclosed.

Founded in 2014 and led by CEO Roy Katmor, enSilo has just launched into the international cybersecurity market with a real-time data exfiltration prevention platform to address the evolving nature of the cyber kill chain. Its application agnostic platform analyzes communication requests at the operating system (OS) level to enforce the anti-exfiltration policies already on connection establishment requests enabling organizations from all verticals to prevent business critical data from being stolen by advanced attackers.
