Workable Raises $5M in Funding

workableWorkable, a Boston, MA-based provider of hiring software for SMBs, raises $5m in funding.

Backers included Greylock IL (now 83North), the Openfund and angel investors.

The company, which has raised a total of $7.4m, intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Founded in 2012 and led by CEO Nikos Moraitakis, Workable provides SMBs with hiring software to post to multiple jobs boards, review candidates and schedule interviews.
It is used by thousands of businesses ranging from car dealerships and health clinics to staffing agencies and tech startups in more than 40 countries.
The company also has offices in New York, London and Athens, Greece.
