Verified.Codes, a Baltimore, MD-based coupon website, raised $500k in seed funding.
The name of the backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to add to its staff to further enhance its algorithm and improve the customer’s couponing experience by mathematically arranging verified coupons based on user’s preferences, and expand relationships with E-tailers.
Launched in early 2014 by Greg Dash, CEO, Verified.Codes offers a coupons and deals platform which uses a proprietary algorithm to verify codes they display will actually work at checkout.
It is currently available for over 25,000 online retailers.
