Shopline Closes $1.2M Seed Funding Round

shoplineShopline, a Hong Kong-based DIY ecommerce platform, closed a $1.2m seed funding round.

Backers included 500 Startups, Ardent Capital, SXE Ventures, East Ventures and COENT Venture Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to expand into Hong Kong and Taiwan and then into select markets in SEA later this year.

Co-founded by Raymond Yip, CEO, Tony Wong (CTO) and Fiona Lau (COO) in late 2013, Shopline offers a localized, DIY e-commerce solution targeting merchants in Asia featuring integrated regional payment gateways, delivery options and live localized customer support.
Shopline now boasts over 15,000 merchant shops.
